Apart from being able to talk non-stop at any given time, I also possess this amazing ability of spending my money unnecessarily . This week itself I managed to VOLUNTARILY lock myself in a room for 45 minutes looking for clues to get my out of the room. Let me rephrase that, I actually paid them to lock me up in a room . Yes, from the picture you would have guessed that I went for the Escape Room at e @ Curve Damansara. I've heard so much about this game from my friends but no one actually gave me a concrete answer. I even did a research on what the room would look like and such but nah, found nothing.
So I managed to gather my old classmates from CBN to join me play this game. We chose the " Pirate ship " room. After speaking to the staff, we found out that this room has the 2nd highest difficulty level. We thought , well , with the 4 of us combined, shouldnt be a problem ! So we paid RM32 per person and into the room we went!
I really need to give thumbs up to the escape room on the atmosphere of the rooms. We really did feel like werent just playing a game. All of us started pacing back and forth looking for clues and such. The pirate ship had 3 rooms for us to travel to. Room by room we managed to find the clue up until the last room. Only 10 minutes left on the clock and all of us were stuck. At the end we sat and started gossiping. hahahaha , such girls we are.
As if the first time wasnt enough, I went yet again with another group of friends. This time we chose the " Slaughter House" . This room is inspired by SAW. Holy shit. I got goosebumps as soon as we entered the room. The room was so dark, even the music was so scary complete with screams and all. Thankfully we were all so focused on looking for the clues that the sounds didnt bother us too much.
Man, I understand why they said the " slaughter house " is the most difficult room to escape from. The clues were so darn difficult to figure out. We spent so much time trying to decipher the codes. Again, we didnt manage to escape the room .
I did have fun though. Wouldnt mind going again to a much simpler room. If you're planning on going I advice for you to not think too hard. Most of the time the answer is right in front of you. Especially for the pirate ship. When the staff came in and told us the answer in the end we were like " LAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!! " . But during the slaughter house, after the answers were given we went " Say what now ? Who the hell would have figured THAT out ? "
So yeah, its really a good experience. For cowards like me , dont worry, theres no jump scares unless you request for it. So just enjoy the game ! =)
Haha.nice advanture.so.what is the answer at slaughter house.?
