You gotta start somewhere, right?

I inherited this habit from my grandma and mum where I like to let people taste my cooking. Whenever I cook/bake something, I tend to give some to people around me. Especially during the festive season , my mum and I used to bake all sorts of raya cookies. By the end Ramadhan we'd usually have bottles and bottles of homemade cookies to be sorted to our close friends and families. Now, apparently even with the exact recipes, two chefs will never create the exact same dish as the other. Through the years, cookies became my speciality. I would be mum's quality control officer when it comes to choc chip cookies. Oh those close to me would most certainly know this by now. Some even ask for bottles and bottles of them when they find out I bake during special occasions.

Then I realized, here I am , being a business student yet Im letting perfect opportunity to make money pass just like that. Worst, Im actually making losses since the materials to bake these cookies arent exactly cheap either. So this year I thought, why not make a teeeeny tiny bit profit out of this ?

Of course being a rookie in this business I only targeted my friends and family for this. I only started this business last week and Im so thankful for all the support Ive been given! I've managed to raise way more revenue than I expected..... in a week ! Im baking fresh batches of cookies 3 times a week now to cope with the orders that are coming in! Syukur , Alhamdulillah. God has blessed me with the best set of friends I could ever hoped for.

This is my first ever sole proprietorship . My own funding, efforts and it will all go back to getting my own profit. I really really hope for the best, InsyaAllah.

Oh , though I say I only target my friends and family, I am also open to taking orders from anyone who lives in the Klang Valey. I charge RM28 per bottle of 70 pcs of cookies. Email me at ashee.anuar@gmail.com if you would like to order!
