The birthday party was held at Bangsar Shopping Complex(BSC) . Apparently the kid likes the movie "Brave" and wanted her party to have it as a theme. Honey, if only you were exposed to Harry Potter instead. (She was only turning 5. Which could be why she doesnt like Harry Potter, pfftttt). My friend's cousin is the party planner and I must give her a thumbs up on the decorations she did. The place really did look amazing and even my inner child was super excited when I first saw it.
I was in charge of leading the kids to play the station games. There were 4 games together and i initially had 8 kids with me but by the end of the 4th game I was only left with 4. The others ran off to the clown who enticed them with balloon. (well played, clown.)
By the end of the party I was exhausted. But I think I did a better job that I thought i was gonna do. A few kids did give me a hug and one kid even said her imaginary "friend" likes me. A little creepy , but flattered as well .
I must say this kid is very lucky to have parents who are willing to spend so much on her 5th birthday party. Regardless if she will remember it in the future. This isnt the first big birthday bash ive attended. Once mum's friend had a hugeeee birtday party for her 2 year old kid. Complete with a go kart circuit and multiple of those balloon castle things. The kid was crying all throughout the party but hey, I enjoyed zooming round and round with the go kart. God knows how these kids will celebrate their 16th/21st birthdays but oh well, lets hope that I keep getting invited. Hahahaha
