Mind the gap part 2

* I forgot to mention the most important thing in my previous post!!*
All my destinations in chronological order!
London - Pisa- Florence - London - Oxford - Manchester - Stoke on trent - London

I will be blogging according to the places that visited. Enjoy!

Yana and I continued our tourist adventures the following day. We visited the Buckingham Palace! Took the tube to Green Park early in the morning so we could make it in time for the exchange of the guards. Apparently its the must see for every tourist in London. Of course we didnt wanna miss out! The green park itself was so gorgeous and it felt so relaxing to be surrounded by beautiful big trees.

The walk to the palace took about 8 minutes from the tube station. There are a few other stations nearer to the palace but most people prefer to walk through Green Park to enjoy all the green ! We were one of the firsts to arrive at the palace so Yana and I walked around and then we discovered another park near by!

But of course I got excited when I saw the swans and the squirrels. I ended up chasing after the adorable squirrels! Then suddenly I saw the guards marching right behind us. Yana and I quickly ran towards the palace and tried to secure the best seat possible!

Look at the amount of people!

After we sat down next to 2 young Japanese men ( who seemed to not be in any interest in whats going on) , Yana and I waited patiently for the event to start. And then suddenly we heard the marching band playing!

Once they marched into the Palace, we couldnt see a thing anymore. Too many people were blocking us short asians. So decided to have coffee instead  Yana had coffee , I who can never turn down anything with chocolate, had this!

Whats better than melted chocolate on a cold morning. YUUMMMYY

Later that day we went shopping at Oxford Circus. Oh Oxford Circus, you're heaven on earth for us chronic shopaholics! I literally spent 2 hours in H&M and it was coincidently on the same day that H&M launched in Malaysia. So while most Malaysians were going crazy in H&M KL, I was also crazy there. Poor Yana had to follow me around. The only downside about shops in London is that it closes so darn early! I couldnt even  fully finish shopping in time.

Even the buildings are so nicely lighted up at night!

Thank god a friend of mine, Qimmy lives 10 minutes away from Oxford circus. On my last night in London , I managed to do some last minute shopping with my other bestfriend, Zaty. Who brought me to Leicester square and also watched Wicked the musical with me!

Whilst walking along Leicester Square, we came across M&M's world! A 3-storey building full of Chocolate!!! My sweet tooth were screaming " HALLELUJAH! "

A wall of chocolates!!!!!!

I was so busy "oohhh and ahhh" - ing at everything that I felt like such a 5 year old in a candy store.
So, that was it for my London trip ! Thank you so much to Yana, Zaty and Qimmy for entertaining me all through my stay in London!
