Ive been living on campus for all these 3 years. Although I live like 20 mins away, Im so darn lazy to go back and forth from my house to UM. Living on campus gives me the opportunity to wake up at 9.30am when class starts at 10am. Also it gives me so much more time to mingle around with the people in university. Those late night supper , exam blues season , even having to eat so little at the cafe cause we're all saving up money. Definitely stories I would tell my children in the future.
Its a tradition for UM to hold a residential college dinner every year. So, once or maybe twice a year if that student participants in their faculty dinner ( like yours truly ), we all get to dress up and attend a dinner at a 5-star hotel. Dont worry, we have to pay for the dinner. They include it in our fees so we dont actually feel like we need to fork out that much money. Geniuses I tell you , these people.
I attend both my college dinner and faculty dinner every year. Semangat one this girl. For this year ,both my dinners were held on the same weekend. I had to fork out extra money to do my hair, sobs sobs. Thankfully I put my oh so limited make up skills to good use and did my make up myself.
My college dinner was held at Marriot Putrajaya. I think this year was special to me cause I felt a teeeny bit more involved. A close coursemate of mine was the director and she did ask a few of my suggestions when she wanted to make her decisions. All these years I would just go with the flow. But this year I knew what was going on before hand.
The theme was Colour Blocking. It was nice to see everyone in such vibrant colours! Everyone looked so amazing and happy . Not to mention that they brought Alif Satar to perform ! Ive had a crush on him ever since he was hot on TV! Not that I listen to his songs but come on , hes so cute and his body is sooooooo uhmmm let me hug him la then i tell u k ?
