Faculty dinner

I did mention previously that I attend my faculty dinner every year. First year I was the emcee, second year I was one of the Board of Directors of the club but this year I'm only attending as a participant. It's nice that I didnt have to worry about anything this time and just enjoy the dinner. They incorporated charity into the dinner and they partnered with HOPE. Nice to see they included a few kids . Makes us reflect how lucky we are in our lives.

So anyway, it was held at DoubleTree by Hilton. Obviously yours truly came late and missed all the " pre camwhoring" sessions. Buuuuuut, this year they did it buffet style so I got to walk around since my dress was uber tight and I couldnt really eat in it.(LOL).


Its nice that I managed to drag a whole table of my closest coursemates for this dinner. We even had a small gift exchange among ourselves. Thanks Rahimi, for the statue of Liberty !

Make up was self did. Thats why its so minimal. My dress was from the online store jamsbell .  It came with a short lining as a skirt but the material was so see though that I had to send it to the most expensive tailor I know ( AKA my mother. SO expensive that I had to pay by doing house chores) to do something about it. So she took out the lining and I wore a petticoat instead. Jyeappp, downside of buying things online is that you dont get to try on things before purchasing =( .


Anyhows, the dinner was very nice and I enjoyed myself very much.
