Cross that off the list!

Every muslim in Malaysia needs to attend a pre wedding seminar before getting married. We will receive a certificate that is valid forever ( I hope i wont need it till forever, Haha). Ive been seeing so many posters up in my uni every since my first year of studies. But I never paid much attention to it since Im not getting married anytime soon. But then theres a rumour going around saying theyre gonna change the format from a 2- day seminar to a week so i thought heck , since we get student price and a few of my friends were interested to go so , why not.

So i attended the seminar last weekend. I have to admit , i sure lack a lot of knowledge about marriage in Islam. Thankfully the talk were all very informative and I managed to stay awake MOST of the time. I didnt like however, how the ustaz made sneaky political remarks about the General Election coming in May. I thought it was quite unprofessional of them but I guess its one of the ways they wanted to make sure everyone were attentive to their talk.

In other news , Saturday night my high school bestfriends had a small gathering to celebrate Elia's 22nd birthday. Its always a pleasure to see my girls. This time its a tad bit special because Zaty's back in town ! We sat, talked , laughed, reminisced and took loads of pictures together. Its nice how no matter how much we grow as a person, our friendship remains strong even through all these years.
