Ciao Bella!

A lot of people asked me why not go to Paris instead of Florence, well its because Ive been to Paris before. A couple of years back I went with my family friend.

So Yana and I decided on Italy instead. We thought about going to Venice which according to my mum :-

Mama: " Girl! you should go to Venice ! Its going to sink soon! "

As if its sinking tomorrow lah kan. Any how , Venice was a little too pricey for us. And since its on its own, if we do go to Venice, its the only place we can visit. Where as for Florence, all low cost flights will land at Pisa Airport and we had to find our own way to Florence. So at least we could visit 2 places.

We left Stansted airport wayyy early in the morning. Our flight was at 6am and just imagine what time we had to be at the airport. Took RyanAir and a word of advice, THEY ARE VERY STRICT WHEN IT COMES TO BAGGAGE. They only allow ONE hand luggage per person. Yes, that includes your handbags. You have to find a way to put your handbags IN your hand luggage. So make sure you pack light!

We arrived Pisa at about 9 in the morning (I think.) Took a bus to where the monuments are cause we booked a hostel room there. I must say, I underestimated the beauty of the monuments. I honestly thought its just a couple of old looking buildings until I saw .....

It felt so surreal ! The first sight of it was breath taking! These pictures we taken after Yana and I changed our clothes cause it was so sunny! Our hostel was located about 5 minutes from the Pisa tower. Again, I underestimated the hostel. With the amount that we paid, I thought we were going to stay at some dodgy place but when we got there , its the total opposite! Its so cute and the deco was suitable for us youngsters!

Helvetia Hostel

Its so adorable! And the owner had 2 big cats! ( of which I will upload the picture once I get it from Yana ) She was so nice , gave us directions and everything! God bless her.Any how, after changing to shorts, we headed straight out for some food! Guess what i had ?

I ate this Pizza on my own cause SOMEONE was on a diet -_-"

After lunch, we got our tickets to explore all these 3 monuments! You can actually choose which monument you want to go in. There are a few museums around as well, if you're the artsy kind of person ( which I am not even close to be ) . So we waited in line to go up the tower of Pisa! 300 slanting steps. Its literally slanting inside. You need to actually balance your body on the way up and the staircase is tiny ! So if you're claustrophobic, you might wanna go for the other monuments instead.

Going up!

Check out the detail!

The view on top!

After Pisa, we went in the Cathedral. It was HUGE! The details on the walls, pillars and ceiling were AMAZING!

I think my eyes we "senget " or something. har har har. One of the must do when you visit pisa is to take a "push the tower of pisa " picture. Everywhere you go, you'll see people trying to get that perfect shot. Its almost like they're trying to do the thriller dance.

CAUSE THIS IS THRILLER!!!!!

This mak cik also wants to join in the fun.
I nearly died laughing.

I shall leave all of you with this picture of this makcik doing the thriller dance. Talk to you soon! Ciao!
