21 and responsible

Its sick how I see people getting spoilt by their parents. Getting a Balenciaga bag at age 17, getting an Iphone 4s at age 16, or even going for expensive spa treatments every other week just cause daddy gives them a credit card. Oh dont get me wrong, Im not jealous. Im actually so glad that my parents didnt raise me that way. Whatever I want, I have to earn it. Im 21 and im already paying all my expenses on my own. Currently living on my scholarship money and the occasional part time job salary. I even had to buy my DSLR camera and my handphone on my own. I havent had a proper semester break for years. Been having various part time jobs ever since SPM ended. But thats okay, cause at least I know the real value of money. How difficult and tiring it is to earn even RM50 a day. Even though im such a shopaholic, at least im splurging on my own money and not what my parents had to work for. The satisfaction is so much more.
