Extra cool points

Ever noticed how someone can instantly look cool with the right pair of sunglasses? Its like sunglasses give you extra cool points each time you put them on. But finding that one PERFECT glasses for your face shape can sometimes be super tricky. Doesnt help the fact that most sales assistants in Malaysia like to follow you around the shop when you wanna try them on. Each time I get too embarrassed I end up walking out of the shop. Solution ? Chill 'n Chic

If you remember in my post HERE , I did mention that Ive been getting addicted to online shopping. I came across a website called friendlyfashion.my of which I used to sell my preloved items. Instead of selling my items, I ended up buying more stuff. I like that website cause the people are all normal people like us who dont only seek for profit. Its a small community of people who actually care about their service. Anywho, I stumbled upon this adorable dress on a girl's page.

A few weeks before I purchased the dress, I found another seller on instagram selling it for double the price I got from her and I had to preorder it ! Talk about a super high profit margin. -___-"

Somehow she and I became friends and I just found out that she's selling this really trendy skirt ! I would get it for myself but mum got me so many high-low skirts during her trip to Singapore. Though its slightly different where it has double slits at the side but the concept is pretty similar to my high low skirts.

She's selling it for RM50 inclusive of postage ! Comes in 2 colours : black and blue. I love how its so flowy when you walk. Since the weather is so darn hot these days, maxi skirts are always a good option to wear out. I know how some of you are worried about the quality but this is actually a H&M product! Even comes with the tag ! 

I also like to deal with her cause she's very friendly. It annoys me to death how some blogshop owners treat us as if we owe them something or what. And I love that she genuinely cares about you making sure you get all the measurements right so that everything fits perfectly.

Parcel Delivery

Apparently to aunt, I'm exactly like my mother. The way I dress, talk and even the type of guys I'm into.  And just like my mother my motto when it comes to shopping is " If you like it, buy it ". Even if I have to starve myself for the rest of the week , if its for a good deal ( which it usually is), Ill just buy it.

My ultimate go to shops are Cotton On and H&M. I know I'll always bump into someone else wearing the same piece of clothing but hey, it probably means I have good taste huh ? However, lately Ive been super lazy to go to the mall. Partly cause the malls in Kuala Lumpur have super expensive parking rates. Like seriously Pavilion, RM15 for 4 hours ? I could get a top at Cotton On for RM15 ok?!  But thats okay cause at least it makes me curb my shopaholic disease. 

But hold it! Just as my bank account and purse started celebrating, an idiot decides to come up with online shopping. And the thing is, these online shops sell things that are way way waaayy cheaper than the items in the store! I'm really not picky about the clothes that buy. As long as its cheap and looks pretty, I just get it.Which is why Ive been receiving a lot of parcels and even the postman laughs at me when I get excited over my stuff. Dad gives me disapproval looks when I run up to my room with the parcel in my hands. Im just a girl pa, sorry. 

So today I'd like to spread my disease by sharing with you some of the online stores that I like to purchase from .

1. Psychedelic Store 

They sell super awesome stuff but I never actually got to buy anything from them cause their stocks are so limited ! Their things are more hipster-ish , like tribal and skull prints sweaters and phone covers. Buuuut, I do think that some of them are a little pricey , I think its because they're quite an established brand and also their store is located in Johor so their delivery charge could be a bit more. ( I think) 

2.TG's

Specializes on printed tops and tights. Most of their clothes are very wearable and are relatively cheap . Love that they give fast response to their emails and are very professional when answering questions. They also use normal girls as models so you know the pictures arent professionally edited to make the items look extremely good. 

3.Beyawesome 

Only downside of this is that the items are pre-order. So you gotta wait a long time (2-3 weeks) for the things to arrive. And also they like to use korean models who are stick thin. So some items are a bit more of a lower quality than in the pictures.

She sells phone covers and her designs are soooo pretty! A plus point is I know her personally so I dont have to spend on the delivery fees since she lets me pay cash on delivery. But her covers are also preorder and you have to wait about 2 weeks to receive it. Do check her page out on instagram. Really cool designs..

2. Lawa-lawa

I think they cater to "hijabsters" as they have tonnes of scarfs, long sleeved dresses and blouses. They actually have a store opposite the Zoo negara so if you live somewhere near, just drop by their store instead! 

3.Cardiza

They sell those chiffon kimono cardigans that are so in these days. Love love it !

Oh my Kiehl's skincare

Back when I was working at Cotton On, my skin was really bad. I started breaking out so much and my then manager said she used Kiehl's. I was skeptical at first cause Kiehls shop ambience is a little scary. It looks super exclusive that I thought I couldnt afford the skincare.

But later on, when I started working at a make up store, my colleague who used to study dermatology also said he uses Kiehl's and he highly recommends it. So when someone who studies the field recommends something , we should definitely listen to him right ?

So yeah , ive been using this for 2 years now. And I feel its time I should write about it to show my love. Haha. As seen in the picture Ive been using Ultimae white scrub ( once a week), Ultra Facial Oil-free cleanser (day & night) , Calendular Herbal-Extract Alcohol-free Toner( day & night ) , Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution( night) and Ultra Facial Oil free gel cream ( day & night ) oh and of course, my trusty Clarisonic Plus that I use every time I cleanse my face.

I have been changing it up a little whenever I finish using something. I should emphasize that I dont normally finish a bottle of a product and Im always buying a new product so it means A LOT when I do actually finish a whole bottle.  I highly recommend those having acne problems to try using Kiehl's. When you go to their shop, ask assistance from someone who specializes on skin. Ensure that they analyze your skin properly and make sure you ask questions ! Im usually served by the same person because he already understands what my needs are.

One concern I have about Kiehl's is the price. I understand that it is a little pricey ( All of the products I use are RM100-RM200) but please trust me when I say it is so worth it. They are very generous when it comes to samples. Even when buying 1 product , they will give multiple free samples. Which is greatttt because I like to bring them when I travel. Another thing is , even though it is a little pricey, their products lasts a loooong time. You only need a tiny amount so one bottle would usually last me 4-5 months! So yes it is so so so worth the money !
